Transport from Seminyak D’Penjor Hotel to Puri Lumbung Munduk Village

Helo everyone, here with Putu Seminyak Bali Driver and Tour Guide in Seminyak . Now i would like to share my experience of yesterday 30th May 2015. It was beautiful journey start at 11.00am to Munduk Village from Seminyak D’Penjor Hotel located in Jalan Bidadari,phone number 0361 8465925 just near by Burger King Sunset Road.
Receiving email From Mr.Frazer McNeill for driving inquiry to drive him to Munduk from Seminyak at 08.00am and we have deal to leave at 11.00am .
I meet Mr.Frazer at the lobby D’Penjor Hotel Seminyak and we start our route to Puri Lumbung Hotel in Munduk Village and along the way we having stop to visit Taman Ayun Temple where is the funny situation is start. Once we arrive there the weather was clear and sunny day after we come closer to the Gate of Taman Ayun temple the weather is change just as claping hand and immidiatly rain falling down , I run to looking some place to hide from rain water and with out watching the road sleeppery i keep running to Bale Gong. And from other side there is chinese man runing fast to same place may be he don’t see i come from other side and Binggo we hit each other and both of us get wet and we laughing for while.
It may be some people can’t hold funny thing of me then everyone just laughing and looking at me. I was so say!
After while rain is stop , we continue our tour in Taman Ayun Temple and make a trip around the temple and we found no water on river side of Taman Ayun Temple may be will be there construction going on for improve the temple garden. So after the Temple Taman Ayun we continue our trip to north direction and we having next stop in Tegal Sari Coffee Plantation where on cold temperature having luwak coffee i fell so good and in this farm the friendly farmer also serve us many different tester coffee where is so good and free . Well one of best coffee i like is Ginseng Bali Coffee , and after we having coffee we come to the pabric and look around and having some coffee for souvenir back to Scootland. And for me i bouth for my wife ginger tea .
After the coffee farm we continue to Lake Bratan Temple
The View is so beautiful , this time i come in side to join mr frazer and we look around the temple , was super beautiful view. And so many kids from many different school having picnic on the garden . And then from Lake Beratan we continue to Munduk Village . And along the way we make a stop as well on view point of Twin Lake Buyan and lake tamblingan .
After resting stop we continue to the hotel Puri Lumbung Munduk well located on the second corner after the waterfall of Munduk phone 0362 7012887 ,After many corner and passing down hill we reach at the hotel.
Say thank you for mr Frazer to give me a chance to drive you and time for me to drive back to Seminyak from Munduk Village.

Five days Tour plan to see Bali

day 1.
Barong and kris dance there is ticket 100.000 /person this is one of spectact in the morning is starting at 9.30 am so to get this place where is the show is call batubulan village we have to start at 8.30 am with one hour duration dance
Balinese traditional house
after dance show so on this place is just work with donation when we visit them for excample 20.000 idr because it belong to local person in the village

Batuan Temple on this temple we allowed to get in to the temple so we get a sarong balinese costume to borrow to ware to get in side the temple and here in batuan temple there is no ticket is just a donation for excample 10.000 idr

Goa gajah after the batuan temple we can see the goa gajah temple so in this temple we allowed to get in as well but there is ticket 30.000 idr per person so we get a sarong as well to ware in this temple

tegalalang rice terrace
after goa gajah temple we can visit that most popular rice terrace view where you in bali will be perfect view you will see because they just recently plan the baby rice in this spot you will pay ticket 5000 / person

Lunch at Kintamani restaurant with a view of the volcano in this place there is ticket 30.000 / person so in the volcano there is so many restaurant for lunch but all of those normally serve a buffet lunch with cost you 120.000 idr per person if there some one told you less please don belive it because it 120.000 idr is ussual price and included tax already . So i will find you one of my favorite place be sure food is great

On the way back from volcano we can see LUWAK coffee there is no ticket and you will get free coffee test as well but special coffee luwak will cost you 50.000 idr a cup if you try it i have try it and alway i wan more and more is so nice coffee
tirta empul
holy water temple this temple we can see it on the way after coffee luwak there is ticket 30.000 idr on this temple and it has complementary sarong provided
Ubud
Monkey Forest after tirta empul we can see ubud most popular spot monkey forest ticket here is 30.000 idr per person please remember dont bring any food to get in on this santuary because monkey some time grab it
Last place we can visit Gianyar night market
Here where you can see all tipical of balinese food and how is balinese people spend the time on enjoying night culinary  that on the first day plan .

second day .
Bali Safari and elephant ride .
i have been many time to visit thia place its big place so we need one day to have fun time here so lets start at 9 am so here normally finished at 4 pm if you like to see all show animal and ticket for all activity is 85$ usd perperson where we can book it on the same day . If you book it in advance some time they charge you more . We can call it and book it on our way to get there . So that is second day

Third day
morning we start on Tanah lot temple or people tell us sea side temple on coast bali better to see in the morning late afternoon we can’t see any view because its to many people 🙂

Nusa dua it white sandy beach on this place where all water sport activity as parasailing diving and other kind of water sport and next is uluwatu temple  after nusa dua
Uluwatu Temple
where this temple is on sout west bottom of the island so need 2 hours ride to get there from tanah lot so on the way to this temple we can visit as well padang padang beach is the one of famoust beach in bali and uluwatu temple is has a ticket in 20.000 idr per person and it has sarong to ware there to visit in the temple  please note in uluwatu temple there is monkey more agresive then ubud monkey forest so becare full and dont worry i will be secure you also there is local resque there to safe us from monkey
Kecak fire Dance
this show is start at 6 am with sunset view fantastic only we can see it on uluwatu temple with spectact fire dance i beleive you will say wow amazing 🙂 and this show it has ticket 100.000 idr person . We can buy the ticket when we arrive on the middle of the temple .
Jimbran seafood dinner
having dinner after the dance will be great time to spend on jimbaran with fresh seafood served on table on beach side . Come to bos cafe taste original balinese sauce yummy

Day four
Dolphins show on own habitat where you can watch it only in north of Bali
is lovina beach where here we can see them with hire a local boat will cost you 150.000 / person if you find less price please avoid it because captain will not bring you to see it the captain is ussualy just drive around the beach to safe petrol and normally the dolphin is 4 km away from the beach so dont worry i have a trusted collage captain so i can arrange it for you
this trip we have to start it at 3am because dolphins come to show up alway bettwen 6-9am so we drive 3 hours to go to north
is there hot spring water is call banjar just half hours from lovina beach in this hot spring water will cost you 10.000 idr per person is original hot spring bring towel please and let swim
after hot spring we can visit some restaurant on the way and have lunch and on the way down we can visit Bratan Lake temple one of famous place on north bali ticket is 30.000 idr per person and next we can visit taman ayun temple the royal temple where ticket only 20.000 idr person

View week haven’t been to East of Bali now is chance to visit most favorite fishing place east Bali . Village of Tanah Ampo 5km before Candisa and 2 km after Padang bay ,the Tanah ampo fishing spot has popular with strike fight of mahi mahi and manta fish because located not that far from manta point of nusa penida on next island .
In Tanah Ampo fishing spot we don’t need a boat hire and get lucky strike on harbour where this harbour not active for some reason karangasem regency build this port and not use it may be Padang Bay harbour still enough to operated the port. So in Tanah Ampo we do fishing with life bite or soft lure i will get there tomorrow morning with mr.Douglas from australia he just recently call me before to disscuss about this and we both agree to leave from Kerobokan at 08:00am and to day is time for me to get some fresh life bite . This late evening i promise to visit mr.douglas at his hotel to talk about how we settup the huck and all equipment . I have check on google map the hotel villa lumbung is not that far from where i stay . Hope we have good luck and get big fish tomorrow 🙂  for any one who love fishing lets go to local spot and fell the bite.

To day i do transport from Seminyak to Ubud promised with short cut faster to ubud , i had last minutes booking at 06:00am, I was on my dream when i pick up the phone and i finally made it . Thank you Mr.Thang Chui from singapore to give me chance to drive you and your fun big family to ubud . Having a no address and just get located pin on GPS in seminyak finally i found the villa Kresna the villa kresna is so nice and beautiful also funny way to find it just begind of Oberoi Hotel there is short cut lane where on each dirrection  there is security man control all the vehicle passing in and out of the lane can you guys imagine that ? Control the road all day long , well good for those tow fat guy help me this morning .
Be there at Villa Kresna at 8.30am as on request from Mr.Thang i made be there on 8.45am on this post i will say sorry sir aim late 15minutes but all good . We start our journey from Villa Kresna at 8.50am finally after some guest forget their thing, in and out from the car several time make us leave at 8.50am , on the way conversation begin from mr Liu family of mr Thang asking me would like to see a Balinese show where i remember the Barong and Kris Dance is start their show at 9.30am at Batubulan village so i explain him all about that Dance and on the midle way get to ubud all decided to see that famous show in Bali so lucky i found alternative way to get that village pass true mc.donald Denpasar corner we turning left and pass all the small lane and make us pop up at Tohpati is quite fast with that small road even on hurry time , on big four juntion tohpati road we turning left and bravo we are in Batubulan village make us there 9:40am dance just started 10minutes paying ticket only 100.000idr per person i was surprice ticket price incrase up 10.000 idr since this weak may be following to combine with petrol price and finally we did see the show Balinese Barong And Kris Dance . After that we continue our trip to ubud where is just 1 hour to go from Batubulan village . On our cruise some place just pass by where the building is look amazing for mr thang to see that and he ask me “putu what is that building ,why so many balinese wearing white costume there ? ” i explain  him that is Batuan Temple where is the one of three important temple in the village belong to the God we Balinese trusted Brahma and Wisnu and we have stop by this temple to see inside and to knows more of this place and also before we entering this temple the local village there in Batuan has serve us a Balinese Sarong so we can borrow to ware in to entering the Temple and by the time we finished visiting the temple we just forget to give some donation as for Goodluck and i decided to run from the parking car to the sarong counter to bring back the sarong and put little donation in the box donation . I like of this temple is not put any tarif ticket to visit the temple where other temple has to be . Then we continue our trip to ubud on mas village we make another stop to see the wood carving and mawang village to see some art of painting where ubud very popular of art if e dont see this village where located next each other we will fell miss some thing in ubud . 10 minutes our way to ubud some one tell me hungry what is tipical food in ubud ? I immidiately tell them Crispy Duck and Betutu Chiken or suckling pig  because that is favorite food in Ubud instead of many western food and other restaurant on the road serve same thing and all decided to try crispy duck and car turn left on t juntuin of central ubud and i turn to Joni resto where local and foreign go to get real ubud food tipycal and every one has enjoy the food, and i talk to my belly “oh boy ,full are you with crispy duck ?” Yes all finished and we drive back to the city ubud and drop all to the Hotel Pertiwi Resort located just on the main street next to moneky forest . So finally i wish thank you for mr.thang for nice lunch and also nice trip to ubud from seminyak . And i get back drive alone from ubud to seminyak again and turn on my music hope some one join me from ubud to seminyak
Yes that was my adventure to day with promised one hours direct to ubud changed on the way be 5hour to ubud with satisfied for every one .

Yesterday we Starting the day on 08.30 Am from Seminyak Puri Saron Hotel. We going to visit ubud and ending trip to Tegallalang rice terrace , to day we have first stop place in Batubulan to see the most amazing dance of Barong dance and then we will continue to visit Balinese house compound and also we will visit celuk village to have alook the silver places , well madam jasmine wife of mr robhet she  love  the jewelery . and we going as well to money forest and after moneky forest in ubud we had lunch in Joni restaurant and then we had coffee in Temen Village north of Ubud near rice terrace . and will stop by rice terrace and back to the Puri Saron Hotel in Seminyak .

Seminyak attractions,and things to do in Seminyak . It has plenty activities you can do in Seminyak such as SEMINYAK SQUARE ,KUDETA,POTATO HEAD,LALUCIOLA ,PETITENGET Beach and TEMPLE, first i recommend you to visit northern side of Seminyak such as SEMINYAK SQUARE , is a huge market has many different stuff for sale as a clothe,dress,surf board and etc also along the road of seminyak square where famous people call it JALAN OBEROI because end of the street  there is BIG Hotel call The OBEROI HOTEL where easy for every body to find it , on this road there is many places as well for culinary , for example ULTIMO Restaurant, BUDA Warung and end of the corner from seminyak square you can see the big sign after the oberoi hotel wrote KUDETA where is The Best place to watch sunset and having a cocktail on side of the SEMINYAK BEACH, may after Kudeta if you wan to see the greatest Club in Seminyak next corner from Kudeta is call POTATO HEAD i guess you don’t have to miss this place before you leave seminyak from your holiday, also there is good little restaurant for breakfast is call Cafe Moca location just in seminyak strret is 100 meter north of Bintang Supermarket on the right side of the road where you can have great breakfast and lunchwith fresh food cooked. Other part of Seminyak it seem similar as KUTA TOWN , Busy and many traffic it may that what making the holiday fell like something less felling good.

Good place to change your money ? may you will interest to go to small store where will showing you big rates and no commissions and if you go there then that is the big mistake you will ever done , tricky and crappy that how it will be . AND now i will give you some info where to have legally Bank to change the money in Seminyak : BMC Money Changer located in front of Bintang Supermarket also EXCHANGE KUTA ,Located in Seminyak Street too and there is the best place to do it with free hassle.

Finding ATM and Don’t Leave your Card on Cash Machine

There is many ATM in seminyak street , just dont forget your card because the card in Bali ATM will come out after the money out from the machine .

Babi Guling is the most famous food in Bali , Babi Guling is really Delicious taste suckling pig . Grill cooked  way of Balinese style  with a lot of spice in side of the pig while they grill it and take used a slow fire and taken time 5 to 6 hours on grill er . It’s on that’s way the pig is cooked very well slow and great cooked till inside of the pig , and taste crispy on skin and smooth meat on every single bite of suckling pig it’s hard to forget in the rest your life . Bali Guling use for Balinese people for what ? answer is :  Most of Family in Bali will have their Babi Guling party on house while they have a 3 month baby born ceremony , mostly when is baby born ceremony using Babi Guling for offering because on pass life the life gost of who coming back for reincarnation having credit in some temple place that have to pay by BABI GULING , why ? how we know that ?  that is what i will explain you now and may if you interest to know about it please read slowly and it’s a detail , having a baby in Bali ! as we are Hindu religion and believe with the KARMA , and Reincarnation,  Born -Live-and Dead is a circle that we believe all the human life can’t avoid it as we are Hindu and believing Karma and Pala mean “What we do and what we get” , example plan a rice we will get a rice , plan a chili we’ll get a chili , that immposible if we plan a rice we get a chili come ups !! 😦 yea that what is work on karmapala , okey ,, back again while a Baby Born on the next 42 days after baby born , Balinese parent or new Father and Family will go to the Mangku (Holy man of Hindu ) to ask the Mangku connect to Good or Parent’s family good to asking who is coming back for reincarnation , what they want to have on this life , may where the family have to offer some offering like a TETEBUSAN ( is mean pay the credit for the gust who is back to this world on some temple , its can be on family temple at home , or Kayangan DESA or Temple of Brahma ( Temple Desa or Village main)  ,Whisnu (temple Puseh on Field) ,Or Siwa (temple Dalem or temple on side of cemetery)  . with mangku while we do asking the good , what happen is ” the mangku will connect to the God with a sign a spirit will come tough the body of the mangku and we can speak with the spirit power of god by mangku for mediator . From there we can asking who is coming back , what is the name , what he want , what he expecting to get back , what he bring when baby born because is mystery in Bali that we can see the baby bring a rice , a gold when baby born , its happening many time may you can come to hospital of Premagana in Batubulan taht located in North of Denpasar , its happen alot in Bali is unbelievable but is true ! and you can ask reception in hospital for that happen :-), now after we get ask all about the things we will do a ceremony of a kambuan for Baby where is 42 days old. may you will say why have to wait 42 days after baby born not dircetly after baby born and faster we know who is come back for reincarnation  ? no no, is the answer , because before a kambuan or 42 days parent of baby Born is still on catagory cuntaka or dirty on spirit that’s why is not allowed to go to temple before 42 days. Okey , after a kambuan ceremony , will be there a nelubulanin ceremony which is a baby 3 months old , on this ceremony will defenetly use a Babi Guling for offering ussualy babi Guling is offering in House family temple or we can say Sanggah Kemulan , or rong Tiga , where is Brahma god , Wisnu gods,and Siwa Gods stay there we have believe it , and there a mangku will company us to pay a what a reincarnations gost own to the gods , and included all other offering as well ,after the ceremony happened, we will take back the baby guling and we will having a party with all family with the best taste of Babi Guling .

other things why Balinese use a lot of Babi Guling for Offering, some person is believe with other world , where can give anything impossible can come to be possible . With negotiations with a god’s by offering Babi Guling if person winning something that babi Guling is work as well for key to be success .
