Explore the Sacred Grounds of Tirta Empul Temple, begins at the temple’s entrance and continues through all three holy courtyards:  

• Jaba Sisi (Nista Mandala) – The outer courtyard, your first step into the sacred site   

• Jaba Tengah (Madya Mandala) – The middle courtyard, home to the famous holy spring pools where Balinese Hindus perform the melukat purification ritual   

• Jeroan (Utama Mandala) – The inner sanctum, the most sacred center of Tirta Empul. You’ll witness locals receiving blessings in the crystal-clear spring water and you’re welcome to join the purification ritual yourself. Sarong are provided for all visitors and must be worn to enter the temple, as a sign of respect for Balinese tradition.

• 10:30 AM – Depart to Celuk Village  Short 15-minute drive to the silver craftsmen village.
• 10:45 AM – Celuk Silver Village  Discover the intricate art of Balinese silver jewelry. Watch skilled artisans at work and browse galleries if you’d like to shop. Visit duration: ∼45 mins
• 11:30 AM – Traditional Balinese House Compound  Visit Gung Aji House to see authentic Balinese architecture and learn how families live in traditional compounds. Great cultural insight and photo opportunities. Visit duration: ∼30 mins
• 12:00 PM – Depart to Ubud Monkey Forest  Drive approx. 15 minutes to central Ubud.
• 12:15 PM – Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary  Explore the famous Monkey Forest with your guide. Meet the playful long-tailed macaques, walk among ancient temples, and enjoy the lush jungle setting. Please secure loose items. Visit duration: ∼45 mins
• 01:00 PM – Depart to Tegalalang  Scenic 30-minute drive through Ubud’s countryside to the rice terraces.

• 04:00 PM – Depart to Tegenungan Waterfall  Drive approx. 30 minutes back toward south east Ubud area.
• 04:30 PM – Tegenungan Waterfall  End the sightseeing with Tegenungan Waterfall. Admire the falls from the viewpoint or walk down for a closer look and photos. Duration: ∼45 mins. Steps involved.
• 05:30 PM – Return to Hotel  Arrive back at your hotel in the early evening with wonderful memories of your Ubud day tour.
